WHO WE ARE.

Affordable IT are a team of Geeks who strive to give the most efficient IT Support and Services, that are universally accessible, enabling any kind of business to flourish.

We are a small business based in Southampton, Hampshire. Originally founded in 2015 from our managing directors bedroom we have now grown to supporting over 100 businesses in the Hampshire area of all sizes and sectors.

We work with businesses to build an IT Support package that suits your business needs. We also get to know you and your business and build a good working relationship between the two businesses and become your trusted partner for looking after your IT systems.

WHAT IS THE CLOUD?

In it’s simplest form, the cloud is a metaphor for the internet. It is a means of storing and accessing data and programs over the internet instead of locally on your computers hard drive.

WHERE IS MY DATA STORED?

We store all data in UK based data centre’s. Our data centre’s are based in both London and Portsmouth and are fully locked down. Our suppliers, such as Microsoft for Office 365, also use UK based data centre’s.

DO I NEED TO UPGRADE MY HARDWARE?

Quite an open ended question, however whenever we are asked if people need to upgrade hardware we ask a few other questions back. Firstly, does any work that needs to be done outweigh the cost of purchasing a new machine and is the currently machine more than 3 years old. If the answer to both of those is yes, then it’s probably best to consider an upgrade.
